Help Desk -- Here to Help

When you find yourself in need of Computer Help Desk assistance and are unable to find your answers online, please contact the Computer Center Help Desk.


There are many options available when you need help:

  • You can stop in at the Help Desk in building B room 308
  • You can call 419-559-2309 during our regular hours of service (or leave a message after-hours)
  • You can email helpdesk@terra.edu
  • Or you can open a support ticket via the help-desk web interface

If you are calling us outside of our normal hours of service, or you receive no answer when calling, please leave a detailed message to include a telephone number to reach you during our normal hours of operation. A help desk technician will contact you as soon as possible.

Regular Hours of Service

The hours below reflect our normal hours of operation. During periods in which classes are not in session, the hours may be shortened. During such times, the shortened hours will be published as an announcement on the my.terra homepage, as well as within the Faculty and Student Portal announcement pages.

Remote Support

Please click the button below when advised to by an IT Help Desk Technician. If you are prompted to Open the file, please choose Open. Otherwise, save or download the file and open it when it is downloaded. The application will present you with an ID and password that you will need to give the IT Help Desk Technician when asked.

Please be sure to include the following information:

  • First and last name
  • Telephone number
  • Email address
  • Information about the trouble or difficulty that you are experiencing. Please include as much information as possible.
  • IMPORTANT! Please do not send your password, student ID#, or any other confidential information in the email for security reasons.

    In order to reset your password, you must telephone the Help Desk during our hours of service at 419-559-2309, or you may stop by room B308 and speak with a Help Desk technician. Make sure you have your Student ID# available when you call or visit.

    Student ID

    You can obtain your Student ID by coming to Room B308 during our normal hours of service. You will need to present the following documents in order to have your ID taken:

  • Photo ID such as a Drivers License.
  • Previous Terra Student ID.
  • If neither of the above documents are available, you will need to be able to confirm your birth date and SSN.


  • * Email Instructions: You MUST append all "Email Names" with @terra.edu to create the email address
